PMS Paint Party At The Farm 2015

AR/LA/MS District Slumber and Paint Party PMS Event
The AR/LA/MS District showed that Motor Maids have more talents than just riding their motorcycles.  The PMS event had eleven Motor Maids in attendance from Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and Texas.   Debra Cash from Virginia went away with the Longest Distance Traveled Award for the PMS event with over 1100 miles from her home to Sibley/Minden, LA.
November 7th, 2015 weekend was a rainy weekend but turned out to be perfect for a day of painting at “Cultural Crossroads Farm” in Minden.   Chris Broussard; Local artist and the founder of the cultural organization took on the challenge as our art teacher for this BIKER CHICK themed paint party.   I gave Chris ideas and she came up with the perfect little BIKER CHICKEN for us to paint as a group.  “The Farm “is known for its FUNKY CHICKEN art so it was only fitting that we create our paintings with that same idea in mind.
A great meal at Minden’s newest, best and only Italian Restaurant was enjoyed that evening.  Our meal was followed by a dime auction held at the Dorcheat Historical Association Museum.   Everyone had a great time and Chris Broussard our teacher was thrilled to have us at the farm.   Chris had as much fun as we did….she would love to have us come back next year.  Who knows we might just do that!
